The windows operating system permits users to manage partitions. So the users can expand and delete partitions by themselves. However, some usual demands to delete partition in window 10 are as follows:

  • Delete recovery partition on laptop or computer
  • Delete unnecessary data storage partition
  • Delete EFI system partition
  • Delete partition during the installation process

Method 1: 

Delete Partition Window in Diskpart:

Click the “Windows + R” key simultaneously to run the box. Now type cmd and press enter. After that, type the demands given below to delete partition from your computer

  • Diskpart
  • List disk
  • Selected disk #
  • List partition

Remove Partition with Disk Management

To remove the partition in disk management, follow the steps below:

  • Go to the start menu and search disk management
  • Right-click the partition or drive by clicking the delete button in the disk management panel.
  • Now tap on yes to continue the process. You will see that your partitions have been successfully removed or deleted.

Deleting the windows partition helps free up space on a specific drive and prepares your PC to extend other partitions.
