Introduction:

Rainbow Six Siege is a very popular game, which was released back in 2015. The Ubisoft exclusive game has been a major hit with regular updates coming to the game and a constant stream of players.

With the latest release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X and S, Ubisoft has developed the game for the latest generation consoles, letting the dedicated players of the game continue on their new consoles.

The Game will return for players on the New Generation console on the 1st of December 2020, making it the perfect, early Christmas present.

In addition to players can grab the game for Free! That’s right, we were shocked too. Thanks to the backwards compatibility with previous console games, Ubisoft has allowed players to download the game with new and improved functions.

You may be wondering how to get the game for free? There is a catch. To get the game for free you will have to already own the game on a previous console, whether it be an Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Fortunately, with Black Friday just around the corner, you can get the game starting for £7.49 if you’re on Xbox and PlayStation. This is a massive discount from the original £24.99 price tag.

If you have owned the game previously, Ubisoft will allow you to download the game for free, but only on December 1st.

What’s the Difference?

There’s not a lot of difference, especially if you’re a PC player, however, as a console player on the new generation console. You will now be able to play the game at 120FPS whilst in 4k resolution. This is a great deal for those of us which have 4k TVs.
