Introduction:

We all are living in a world which is lacking food resources for many of its population. According to recent research from the UN, 821 million people – or one in nine – starve.

After years of steady decline, the number of people who suffer from hunger began to upsurge again in 2015.

Reports show that almost 690 million people are hungry, which is around 8.9% of the world population. Thus making it 10 million people in one year and approximately 60 million in five years.

Recently, there are many technologies and tools that we can use to forecast droughts, etc.

This will help farmers to prepare themselves for the upcoming problems.

Tech impact 2030 project: 

We all know, food deficiencies will increase as the universal population grows. The United Nations informed that it will rise to 9.8 billion people by 2050 and 11.2 billion by 2100. For maintaining the global food source chain must develop by 70%.

The Tech Impact 2030 is a project of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the World Economic Forum. The mission of this project is to fight malnutrition and change the concept of the food system.

What is it’s aim? 

The target of this project is to improve sustainability in the farming ecosystem. As an open partnership, HPE and the Forum are boosting industries, academic circles, and governments. They all are supporting each other to work together on resolutions that can finish food deficiency and feed a rising population.

Over the next few years, they will set a roadmap, donate concepts, and pledge to improvement. The goal is to finish world hunger by 2030.

Use of Modern Technologies: 

As Tech Impact 2030 improves new technologies, they have committed to agricultural technologies to reach their aim. The group believes this category of knowledge is most operative. That is because it will help upsurge food production, harvests, and sustainability. While also giving investigation that will add to higher food security for target populations.

    What is the problem? 

    The main problem that arises is to consider the future of agricultural technology. Data and logistics are a basic need for development. But, memory-driven computing is still a technical conception. It arranges memory rather than processing to increase a device’s effectiveness. They believe that this tool will help them in minimizing these problems. HPE is heading to its ultimate point on its road to marketable memory-driven computing systems.

    Climate Change: 

    Climate change is another cause of global hunger. It influences food production. Still, Wefarm is undertaking this with its digital farmer-to-farmer data sharing system. These systems are AI-based. It helps in solving daily issues faced by farmers through an SMS-based platform. They can find answers to crop viruses, pests, and other difficulties without internet contact with the help of technology.

    Conclusion

    We have developed such tools that will help us in eradicating hunger by 2030. With the help of such technologies, we can make our world a better place.
